The Earth Science with Mrs. Wilson web site has been created as a tool for parents and students to remain easily connected to the classroom. The site will be updated each school day with details of the activities of the lesson. It’s a great way to remind yourself what we did in class, catch up on missed assignments if you are out, and for your parents to know exactly what we are accomplishing each day.
The 2009-2010 school year marks my fourth year of teaching Earth Science at Lanier Middle School. This is sure to be an exciting year as we embrace a smaller student population, our new Longhorn mascot, and our new colors of orange, black, and white. It is my goal that you will find a passion for inquiry and science as we investigate the disciplines of earth science throughout the school year.
- Ecology/Energy Resources
- Plate Tectonics
- Weathering, Erosion, Deposition, and Soil
We will also be experiencing the characteristics of science throughout the school year. You can find details regarding the Gwinnett County Public School sixth grade AKS here and the Georgia Performance Standards for sixth grade science here.
