All good things must come to an end.

Whew! This year flew by! Thank you so much for sharing it with me! I am so proud of each and every one of you! You have made extraordinary gains in your science knowledge, and you ended the year strong. Thanks for bringing your best each day.

What next? There’s a brand new meteor shower that starts tomorrow, and it’s supposed to be an awesome one. How good will it be? Maybe over 100 an hour. That’s a big deal! Check out NASA’s info page for details.

Final Exams

We’ve just finished up a fabulous time in the Longhorn Space Stampede. From what I’ve heard, students had some of the best success rates for the egg drop lander we’ve ever had, and we had a great time launching rockets on Monday.

Our final exams will be on Monday (1st and 3rd periods) and Tuesday (4th and 5th periods). It covers all of second semester material. Please make sure you studying in preparation for this exam. The exam counts at 10% of your final grade.

Pringles Challenge Day 2B

This was the final day for fourth and fifth periods to complete the Pringles Challenge. If you did not complete your project, you can come in before school on Wednesday or Thursday or complete it at home. I must have your package by Friday so I can get it in the mail.

For first and third periods, we will meet tomorrow to finalize the project. Please prepared to work.

Pringles Challenge Day 2A

After CRCT testing this morning, first period were not able to work on the project. Come prepared on Tuesday to prepare, test, and finish your package. Third period worked on constructing and testing their Pringles Ship the Chip packaging. If your group does not finish Tuesday, you can bring a completed package to me by Friday, May 9th.

Remember, I will provide each group with 3 chips: two for testing and one for shipping. If your group needs more than three chips for testing, you need to provide them.

Please make sure you  come ready to wrap this up on Monday. If your group does not finish until Monday, you can bring a completed package to me by Friday, May 9th.
