Completing #edSketch

I had this great idea to get a group of teachers creating art together with the Sketchbook Project. I participated last year and documented it on Hope is the Thing with Feathers. In August, we got a group together, and then my sketchbook sat in my studio for months. I had decided what my theme would be – my favorite quotes about the cosmos in different lettering styles.

However, as the deadline fast approached, my blank sketchbook continued to just sit on my desk. I got the point where I decided I would not begin it or finish it. But my partner from last year, Malyn Mawby encouraged me to try. So, the night  before the mailing deadline, I furiously filled the pages. It may not be the best art, but I am pleased with the results. I love the quotes I have shared. Thanks to everyone who participated in #edSketch!
